The  Opportunity

Role: Full-Time 

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Brand Solutions & Client Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strong client relationships, and identifying new revenue opportunities. This role requires extensive experience in managing large-scale Intellectual Properties (IPs), a deep industry network, and a proven ability to develop innovative brand partnerships that drive monetization.

Key Responsibilities:
1) IP Management & Industry Collaboration:
  • Oversee the execution and monetization of large-scale Intellectual Properties (IPs) and marquee projects.

  • Build strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, and key industry stakeholders to enhance IP value.

  • Utilize strong industry connections to drive sponsorship sales and long-term collaborations.

  • Spearhead the development and implementation of high-impact brand campaigns and sponsorship initiatives.

  • Cultivate and strengthen key client relationships to drive long-term partnerships and account growth.

  • Enhance client retention and satisfaction by providing outstanding brand experiences and top-tier service.

2) Strategic Growth & Revenue Expansion :
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through brand partnerships and sponsorships.

  • Identify and establish new revenue streams for the organization, including branded content, digital partnerships, experiential marketing, and media collaborations.

  • Leverage industry insights to develop innovative solutions that maximize commercial potential.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, sales, marketing, and strategy) to create customized, data-driven brand solutions.

  • Keeping up with market trends through daily research to track breaking news, ongoing sports events, and brand associations with teams, players, and other relevant partnerships.

  • Competition analysis: Research and identify new display formats, content ideas, and innovative brand executions used by competitor and non-competitor websites. Curate and maintain a repository of these examples with samples for team reference and future client pitches.

  • Conceptualizing and creating marketing materials, such as articles and infographics, centered around key tournaments and events.

3) Creative Ideation and Proposal Creation:
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop creative proposals for clients.

  • Design innovative and practical solutions for Sportskeeda's diverse clientele, including corporate brands, government institutions, federations, international clients, and sports bodies.

  • Craft high-quality proposal presentations, including media decks, sponsorship packages, and tailored client proposals.

  • Engage with clients directly or alongside sales team members to ensure effective communication and alignment of solutions.

4) Execution and Delivery:
  • Develop a detailed execution plan following deal closure.

  • Oversee seamless campaign implementation while ensuring profitability.

  • Collaborate closely with Content, Video, Tech, AdOps, and other teams to deliver exceptional execution that surpasses client expectations.

  • Gather measurable feedback from clients/agencies on campaign performance.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in brand solutions, client servicing, or revenue-focused roles in media, digital, or sports industries.

  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale IP-driven projects and securing high-value brand collaborations.

  • Strong track record of bringing in new revenue streams and driving business growth.

  • Extensive industry connections with brands, agencies, and key decision-makers.

  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to blend creativity with commercial acumen to craft compelling brand partnerships.

  • Experience in digital content, sports media / entertainment / OTT and sponsorship sales is a plus.
