Job Summary

The Policy Change Senior Associate plays a critical role in reviewing and analyzing policy change forms to ensure completeness and compliance with basic underwriting requirements. You will review and analyze each change request to determine if the necessary details are provided to meet the requirements for processing. Using various system platforms, you’ll input information received in paper or electronic submissions. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of state-specific rules and guidelines to ensure policy changes align with regulations. Customer service support is an essential aspect of this role, where you will answer questions regarding policy contracts and the policy change process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed daily production targets of 35 health and life policy changes.
  • Deliver customer service through phone, email, and written communication.
  • Perform basic risk assessments.
  • Develop an understanding of state regulations and requirements to make appropriate policy changes.

Skills and Background You’ll Need Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance and customer service.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with policy change processes and various system platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail in data entry and policy analysis.
  • Strong communication skills for customer service and team collaboration.

Preferred:

  • Experience with life insurance and complex health policies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

 

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

21.27 - 28.25
