As a Regional Facilities Manager, you'll take lead in managing the maintenance, alteration, and repair of facilities for an assigned portfolio of locations. You will plan, budget, and schedule modifications in conjunction with field operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct site assessments and audit facilities throughout the assigned portfolio

  • Submit site measurements into facility database (FACTRAC)

  • Determine if site meets defined UR standards and provide cost estimates for any upgrades/repairs in FACTRAC

  • Analyze facility condition reports; prioritize projects

  • Manage facility maintenance and modification projects in accordance with real estate strategy

  • Prepare scope of work for bid proposals, review bids, select vendors and negotiate contracts

  • Work cross functionally with Legal, Real Estate, Environmental, IT, Risk, field operations, contractors, suppliers, and other third parties to coordinate key deliverables

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to UR specifications

  • Assist in the development and communication of preventative maintenance and preferred vendor programs to provide increasingly cost-effective services to URI facilities

  • Establish facility maintenance schedule for use by site managers

  • Establish and maintain preferred vendor list for facility services for assigned portfolio

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field (Construction, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of technical experience and education

  • IFMA certification preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience in management of facilities and services to multi-Fortune 500 company

  • Familiarity with state & local code, OSHA, etc.

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, FACTRAC or other facility management database (SAMTRAC, Siteseer, etc.)

  • 70% travel required
