Job Description:
Job Summary: Epiq is a global, market-leading alternative legal solutions provider and a recognized pioneer in the use of artificial intelligence to augment human intelligence and allow lawyers to focus their attention on the highest value tasks. We are seeking an experienced Technical Sr. Director/Director Product Management to lead the definition of technical requirements and strategies and to collaborate with product management, product marketing, development, and other key business functions for our Epiq AI Discovery Assistant. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, product management, and the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
- Product Releases: Lead the technical product management of the Epiq AI Discovery Assistant, ensuring it meets market needs and client expectations. Partner with Research & Development to identify promising AI use cases and technologies to expand what is possible for client value creation.
- Product Requirements: Define and prioritize product requirements as Epics working with Product Owners to breaking down Epics into features and user stories based on client feedback, data analysis, and business objectives. Ensure requirements address portfolio strategic themes.
- Win/Loss Analysis: Conduct win/loss analysis to understand the reasons behind successful and unsuccessful sales outcomes, use insights to refine product strategies to improve sales effectiveness.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in available solutions supporting litigation and investigation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, value proposition, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and client success teams.
- Build, Buy, Partner Recommendations: Evaluate and recommend build, buy, partner strategies to enhance the Epiq AI Discovery Assistant’s capabilities and market position.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on product performance KPIs, using data to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Incorporate feedback from end-users, sales, and other business stakeholders to continuously improve the product, drive adoption, and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product, engineering, operations, client success management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Sales Readiness and Training: Build excellent working relationships with the sales team. Develop and deliver sales readiness programs, training, and enablement tools to build quality sales pipeline and ensure the sales team is well-equipped to sell the AI Discovery Assistant effectively.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience as a technical product management leader, ideally in the AI or legal industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AI technologies and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly product, sales, marketing, development, and other business stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an agile team using SAFe and scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Compensation range for this role is 156,091.50 - 312,182.40 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
