Integrations Tech Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Integrations Tech Lead with deep expertise in MuleSoft and/or Boomi to design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade integration solutions. This individual will play a key leadership role in architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing integration frameworks that connect internal systems, cloud platforms, and third-party services. As the technical lead, you will drive the full development lifecycle and ensure alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Boomi, applying API-led architecture and microservices design principles.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, including Blueprint/BRD/FSD documentation.
• Architect integration patterns and reusable frameworks to streamline and standardize data exchange across applications.
• Guide the development team in building secure, scalable APIs and integrations, ensuring adherence to SDLC standards, data governance, and performance benchmarks.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in integration development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Product Owners to ensure cohesive solutions.
• Define and enforce integration standards, coding practices, and technical documentation across the integration landscape.
• Support and troubleshoot mission-critical integration flows, providing off-hours support as needed.
• Maintain deep understanding of platform capabilities, new features, and vendor roadmap (MuleSoft/Boomi), and assess their applicability to organizational needs.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in developing integration solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience, including Anypoint Studio, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, DataWeave, and API Manager.
• Experience with Boomi AtomSphere is a strong plus.
• Strong background in API design, development, and management (including security, throttling, analytics, and versioning).
• Deep understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, batch, etc.) and message queue systems.
• Proven experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, AWS, SAP, Workday, and other SaaS/Cloud services.
• Proficiency in developing reusable assets, connectors, and API gateways (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee, etc.).
• Solid experience with microservices architecture, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Knowledge of RESTful/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, and endpoint security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in MuleSoft/Boomi a plus.
