Job description

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Lewsiton, Maine

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Oregon. In this role, you will provide expert mental health services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive and client-centered environment, promoting positive therapeutic outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or family systems therapy, tailored to client needs.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, fostering healthy communication and relationship dynamics.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, supervision, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.

Requirements

  • Valid LMFT license in the state of Maine.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience is preferred (new graduates with supervised clinical hours may be considered).
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
