Business Analyst

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team.

• Elicit, analyze, specify, document, validate, and manage requirements.
• Analyze business models and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform business and functional analysis of IT applications to ensure they meet business needs.
• Conduct risk analysis to identify and address potential issues.
• Assist in developing business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans.
• Evaluate the integration of various information systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Manage the agile product backlog as a Proxy Product Owner, either as the primary owner, in a supportive role, or as a backup.
• Support development teams by providing guidance and conducting iterative testing of solutions.
• Monitor data analysis and data modeling processes to support decision-making.
• Provide security assessments and develop solutions to address vulnerabilities in information systems.
• Review, evaluate, and test applications—including third-party components—to ensure they integrate well with other systems and comply with established requirements and standards.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor Degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business and functional analysis, particularly in an agile development environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis and modeling.
• At least 5 years of experience with BPM.
• A required 5 years of experience working with JIRA.
• Strong knowledge of analysis methods and techniques, including UML, BPMN, context diagrams, use cases, user journeys, and user stories.
• Proficiency in modeling tools such as use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity-relationship models, and interaction diagrams.
• Good understanding of information systems and administrative business processes in large organizations.
• Experience in SQL for database consultation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Wiki and collaborative platforms.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as RUP and Agile.
• Ability to write detailed functional analyses and produce well-structured documentation, including UML diagrams, use cases, and mock-ups.
• Experience in designing multilayer applications and managing integration points.
• Hands-on experience with agile project and product management, including backlog management, refinement sessions, iterative planning, estimation techniques, and incremental development.
• Strong testing skills, including test design, execution, and documentation.
• Experience working with web applications.
• A very good level of written and spoken English is required (minimum B2).
