Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to manage bookkeeping for a small client portfolio, assist with VAT returns, and support firm administration. This role includes client onboarding, compliance checks, and preparation for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD-ITSA). If you're organized, efficient, and eager to grow, we’d love to hear from you!

Proficiencies

  • Xero and QuickBooks

  • MS Excel

  • MS Outlook

  • Microsoft 365

  • Fundamental knowledge of bookkeeping

  • Knowledge of UK VAT

  • Ability to communicate concisely, verbally and in writing, in English

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks efficiently

  • Ability to learn new skills, maintain knowledge, and acquire new information—essential for keeping up with changes to taxation regulations (with provided external and in-house training)
