Principal Software Engineer, IT Solutions (#RY-0620):

Full-Time

Job Description:

Architect engineering IT solutions, including designing complex web applications.
Utilize expertise in modern frontend technologies to lead the development of front-end JavaScript applications, frameworks and libraries (React, Redux, angular, etc.).
Work in Agile and Scrum environments to optimize front end performance.
Build enterprise-grade, Internet-facing responsive web applications for business users.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
8 years of progressive experience architecting or engineering IT solutions.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field and 6 years of experience architecting or engineering IT solutions.
Work experience to include: (1) Seven years of experience (or six years of experience with a Master’s degree) in front-end JavaScript development, including experience with at least one of the following frameworks and libraries: Backbone, JQuery, FabricJS or AngularJS. (2) Four years of HTML and CSS experience, including the following concepts: layout and cross browser compatibility. (3) Two years of experience working in Agile and Scrum environments. (4) Two years of experience in Architect or Lead role in projects that used frontend technologies. (5) Two years of experience building enterprise-grade, internet-facing responsive web applications for business users. (6) Working with RESTful APIs and optimizing frontend software performance. (7) Using JavaScript development toolset (“build” tools, packaging, linting, and transpilers). (8) Developing integration patterns and pattern-based designs. (9) Software implementation project planning through the entire development life cycle.

Salary: $201,805 to $205,805 per year.
