Join Our Team  

You will be a Senior Engineer, Cloud & DevOps. You will part of a global, agile and collaborative team that will help to influence and execute upon SiriusPoint’s global Cloud strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team during a period of dynamic growth & expansion. You will report to the Cloud Infrastructure Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a bridge between the Cloud and development teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals.
  • Designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Applying continuously monitoring practices and applications to ensure optimal performance and quickly addressing any issues that arise.
  • Building secure, scalable, and highly available solutions that adhere with enterprise policies and industry standards and best practices.
  • Advising on opportunities for application modernization, automation, scalability and resiliency.
  • Driving continual improvements as technical and business needs evolve in line with SiriusPoint’s corporate strategy.
  • Managing and resolving incidents to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • 5+ years of applied experience with DevOps practices.
  • A desire and curiosity to learn & implement innovative ways to solve challenges and meet business needs. The ability to think and execute with a well-architected and secure-by-design approach.
  • Strong hand-on experience with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS in particular)
  • Demonstrated experience with a broad set of AWS technologies, across the areas of compute, data, networking and security, with a particular emphasis on serverless and containerized workloads. Similar experience with Azure and other Cloud service providers is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and comfort working with various CI/CD tools and methodologies including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & GitOps. A scripting & automation mindset is a must. Specific experience with Azure DevOps, Atlassian and Terraform are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Cloud platform management & governance at scale, particularly across a multi-cloud, multi-account, multi-region ecosystem
  • Experience with integrating Cloud infrastructure and applications with Cloud-agnostic tooling in areas such as monitoring, observability, identity & security
  • Experience and comfort level with both Microsoft and Linux operating systems, standard networking concepts and general familiarity with various database platforms
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) including technical documentation, with a strong teamwork and customer service mindset

 

SALARY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only.  In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
