Job Responsibilities:
Local Listing Management: Create, claim, and manage local business listings on platforms such as Google My Business, Yext, Bing Places, Yelp, Facebook, and other relevant directories.
Accuracy and Consistency: Ensure that business information, including address, phone number, website, business hours, and other details, are accurate, consistent, and optimized for local search.
Local SEO Optimization: Optimize local listings and profiles to improve search engine rankings, local visibility, and organic traffic for clients' businesses.
Review Monitoring and Reputation Management: Monitor online reviews and ratings, respond to customer reviews professionally and promptly, and implement strategies to enhance clients' online reputation.
Local Citations: Research and identify local directories, industry-specific websites, and other citation opportunities to increase online visibility and local search rankings.
Data Analysis: Analyze performance metrics and data related to local listings, including impressions, clicks, conversions, and user engagement, to identify areas for improvement and track the effectiveness of local listing efforts.
Collaboration: Coordinate with the web design and digital marketing teams to integrate local listing efforts with overall marketing strategies and website development projects.
Local Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor research and analysis to identify local SEO opportunities and stay informed about local market trends.
Stay Updated: Stay updated of the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in local search, SEO, and online directories to ensure the company's strategies remain effective and competitive.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in managing local listings, local SEO, and online reputation management.
Strong knowledge of local search engines, particularly Yext, online directories, review platforms, and citation sources.
Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and consistency.
Proficiency in using local listing management tools and analytics platforms
Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of web design and development principles is a plus.
