Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm NSW, AU time

Responsible for managing and administering the production of products across all categories, ensuring standards are maintained and delivered through product quality, price, and manufacturing processes. Ensuring consistencies across the entire collection while maintaining timely delivery of products into retail stores and wholesale customer accounts.
  • Work closely with design, buying, garment tech, and logistics teams to ensure high-quality products are delivered and price architecture for bulk is in line with company expectations and parameters.

  • Product development including sample management, approving lab dips, fabric testing, fit comments, grading, organizing care labels, ordering barcodes and trims, and factory planning.

  • Sourcing new factories and ensuring factory audits are carried out, as well as managing new supplier onboarding.

  • Managing repair returns trackers with online and wholesale partners.

  • Negotiate prices, delivery dates, and minimum order quantities on raw materials, samples, and finished goods, ensuring profit margins are met.

  • Raise purchase orders for finished goods and send out order confirmations to vendors to secure deliveries.

  • Manage the production and development calendars, ensuring key deadlines are met.

  • Manage the production supplier and artwork manual.

  • Coordinate production from a surface design perspective (manage surface designer, chase patterns, and oversee handovers to factories).

  • Review inventory ledger against purchase orders to ensure accurate bulk deliveries (occasional scanning of bulk when needed).

  • Oversee production trackers and ensure they are kept up to date.

  • Manage pattern makers’ priorities and workflows, ensuring high-quality products and streamlined communication with factories.

  • Create and hand over care labels and barcodes to factories.

  • Communicate and hand over assets to the wholesale agent. Oversee the arrival, receipt, and dispatch of bulk goods to international partners, including generating international packing lists as per wholesale order confirmations. Prepare order confirmations for international partners.

  • Manage all invoices from development to production stages.

  • Conduct cross-quote comparisons for bulk goods logistics and book goods for pickup.

  • Report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Creative Director to ensure the design vision is executed.

  • Oversee and implement sustainable business milestones.
