Title: Senior FP&A Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (100% telecommuting permitted anywhere in US)

Employer: AES Clean Energy Services, LLC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Statements controlling, budgeting, and forecasting for 1.5GW installed capacity energy business; Financial control for partnerships, Hannon Investments, and Tax equity investors; Financial reporting and explanation variances against projections; Project leader for developing new tracking models that fit the AES Clean Energy business; International financial reporting with BPC/SAP as super user for the team in Clean Energy; Hypothetical Liquidation at Book Value (HLBV) reporting special knowledge; Cash flow report projections for dividends and sensitivity analysis for partners and the company management; Tax equity buyout support that implies valuation and modeling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Job requires a Master’s degree in Finance, Management Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation involving senior/specialist finance control or planning and analysis (FP&A), in Energy Market, and financial transition from conventional energy to green energy portfolios.

Job requires 5 years of experience in each of the following: Super user and know-how for SAP/BPC international reporting and functional day-to-day use needed; Experience in presenting and explaining financial and performance metrics that drive the business with an AES global perspective; Strong understanding and experience of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and FP&A background; Strong modeling and model creation skills, especially for US and International energy businesses, such as projecting plant performance, financial metrics for investors, and accounting projections for income statements, cash flows, and balance sheets; CAPEX controlling, managing over $2.5B total project; Global company experience on support FP&A Director and the rest of the FP&A team in the development of the final in depth analysis of the business performance and recommend action plans.
