Job Description:

Finance Manager – Product Operations & Cost Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead product operations and cost management. This role will be responsible for overseeing cost structures, driving financial efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making for product operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, expertise in cost management, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to optimize financial performance.

What you will be responsible for:

Analyzing product cost structures, including direct and indirect costs

Monitoring and reporting variances in cost estimates vs. actual expenses and recommending corrective actions

Working closely with product operations and procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities

Developing cost allocation models to enhance pricing strategies and profitability analysis

Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to product operations

Performing scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of changes in production, pricing, and sourcing

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on product costs and operational efficiency

What you will bring to the role:

5+ years of relevant and progressive FP&A experience

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related data analysis tools

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to network across business functions

Proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Ability to ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial regulations

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $71,250 and $95,000 USD. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
