Job Title: NHS Clinical Sector Lead

Location: Homebased

Salary: £53,898.25 per annum + benefits and car allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday

Role Summary

As a Clinical Sector Lead, you will form an integral part in delivering and developing services in an OH Centre of Excellence.

You will work with clients across our NHS clients to understand their health risks, develop and deliver high quality services to meet their needs by defining the processes that are required. You will develop the practitioner sector specific knowledge and skills to provide best in class services for our clients. You will ensure that clinical practice meets the highest standards within the Centre of Excellence.

You will help to build our reputation as the supplier of choice, thereby growing our business in line with our core values.

You will be an essential part of the Centre of Excellence Leadership Team.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work with the Senior Medical Directors, Client Services Managers and Associate Directors and Business Development to understand and prioritise the health risks in the sector.
  • Develop, refine, and deliver OH services to meet these risks for customers within agreed performance targets, contribute to policy development.
  • Lead and support by coaching the internal stakeholders delivering on the contract.
  • Work with the Senior Medical Directors to establish an effective cross functional clinical governance forum in your sector to oversee clinical standards and quality in the allocated sector quality standards achieved, and risks minimised.
  • Work with OHA & allied professional Clinical Performance Managers to ensure excellent services to the client.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of Occupational Health and Wellbeing issues in the allocated sector, proactively participating in industry networks as required.
  • Provide billable clinical work as required. (This may be clinics or specific allocated clinical lead work)

Who Are We Looking For?

  • A qualification in Occupational Health (preferred) and current NMC registration.
  • Substantial experience in a senior clinical role withing OH.
  • The ability to demonstrate a strategic approach to occupational health delivery.
  • Able to identify and address clinical performance issues.
  • Track record of establishing, influencing, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial and business awareness.
