Junior Technical Program Manager with Large Media Company
FULLY REMOTE IN THE US- 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT
Pay range  $30-$35 per hour w2
Looking for 2-3 years experience 


It is an exciting time to be part of  the Transact Cart & Order Engineering team.  looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support our Quality Engineering (QE) Manager in driving test strategies and tracking testing efforts for a distributed team of automation testers. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of testing for APIs and services that power PlayStation’s eCommerce platform
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy & Execution Support: Assist in defining and tracking test strategies for API and service automation testing.
  • Program Management: Track QE projects, defects, testing efforts, and deliverables in collaboration with the QE Manager.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to align testing priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Define and maintain test execution dashboards, automation coverage reports, and defect tracking metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in testing workflows.
  • Risk Management: Proactively track testing gaps, risks, and mitigation plans to support on-time feature releases.
  • Communication & Documentation: Ensure clear documentation of testing plans, status updates, and key decisions across teams.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Technical Program Management, Quality Engineering, or Software Development role.
  • Experience working with automation testing, preferably in API and services testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles in an agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience with test tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with teams across different time zones is a plus.
Bonus Skills
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, RestAssured, or Postman
  • Knowledge of software testing terminology such as test case execution, test scenarios, defect management
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices testing.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce or payment systems.

Experience
  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years professional experience at scale
