As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who will serve as the Creative Director’s strategic partner, ensuring all brand design output is of the highest quality, executed with efficiency, and aligned with our brand vision.

 

Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Remote - PST or MST time zone

 

Reports to: Creative Director

This is a senior-level role for a high-caliber designer who can manage projects, mentor teammates, and elevate the brand through exceptional brand design execution. You will oversee design workflows, enforce brand consistency, and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless collaboration between Brand Design, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.

You should have a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of design systems, branding, and marketing, and an ability to execute high-impact brand design across a variety of channels. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role that requires leadership, precision, and the ability to balance creativity with efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Brand Design & Project Management
  • Manage the creative request board, ensuring tasks are prioritized, documented, and efficiently executed.
  • Develop and enforce clear project timelines, track progress, and facilitate reviews between the Brand Design team and project requestors.
  • Maintain a balanced workload across the team, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.
  • Organize and lead kickoff meetings for new brand design initiatives, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  1. Graphic Design & Asset Development
  • Lead the design of brand assets across multiple channels, including:
  • Web, email, UX/UI, organic social, paid media
  • Print, retail, wholesale, POS assets
  • Provide teammates with guidance on typography, color, and brand consistency.
  • Create compelling presentation decks for brand design reviews, campaign concepts, and internal stakeholders.
  1. Art Direction & Campaign Creation
  • In support of the Creative Director, help define the visual identity for seasonal campaigns and high-level design treatments.
  • Partner with the Creative Director on the creation of CGI, motion graphics, and other visual assets, providing constructive feedback to internal and external creators.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all design touchpoints.
  1. Cross-Department Collaboration
  • Act as a bridge between Creative, Marketing, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment across initiatives. 
  • Partner with the Marketing Integration team to clarify briefs and set clear expectations.
  • Work closely with the Media team to provide guidance on typography standards and light motion design for branded video content.
  • Collaborate with email, e-commerce, and social media teams to create assets that drive engagement and conversions.
  1. File Management & Asset Organization
  • Assist in managing Selkirk Sport’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform and shared drives.
  • Establish best-in-class systems for folder hierarchy, file naming, and asset organization.
  • Improve workflow efficiencies to streamline asset retrieval and maintain a structured brand design ecosystem.
  1. Leadership & Process Management
  • Present brand design concepts to internal teams and leadership with clarity and confidence.
  • Take ownership of high-visibility projects, via direct interaction with ownership and C-suite.
  • Establish agile brand design processes that allow for efficiency and adaptability.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, implementing improvements where needed.

  • Familiarity with Figma, motion graphics, and emerging design tools.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, typography, and layout design.
  • Project Management Skills: You can juggle multiple projects while maintaining quality and hitting deadlines.
  • 5+ Years of Experience in a fast-paced, high-performance brand environment.
  • Passion for Sports & Pickleball (Preferred but not required).
