A Day In The Life…

Reporting in to the Head of QA, this is a brand-new position due to ongoing growth and sits within Petlab Co.s ambitious Development Team. This role will be vital in supporting the company's software development lifecycle as well as developing and maintaining automated tests and framework solutions. In this role you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of the automated testing as part of continuous integration and deployment practices, as well as creating and maintaining e2e tests with existing framework (Python, Selenium Web driver, Jenkins)

This role is fully remote within the UK however we do have a really cool office space in central London if you do want to visit. If that sounds exciting - we would love you to join our pack!

Your day to day will look a little bit like this…

  • Working closely with development and QA teams to improve our test coverage and maintain the test pyramid
  • Set up and optimize automation projects with Continuous Integration
  • Support and maintain existing automation framework (Python, Selenium Web driver, Jenkins)
  • Minimize the manual efforts in application testing and delivery

Requirements

What You Need…

  • Minimum five years of test automation experience, coupled with development experience, any programming language (Java, Python)
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD configuration
  • Experience in automated testing of web applications
  • Experience with building automation testing frameworks from scratch
  • Experienced with Rest API automation
  • Experience with automating testing tools like Selenium, Cypress or similar
  • Demonstrable experience working closely with development and QA teams

Desirable:

  • Experience of designing, developing, and executing unit, integration, and performance tests. Unit tests in php
  • Experience in E-Commerce automation
  • Experience with cross-browsers testing automation (browser stack)
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Exposure in database testing
  • ISTQB certification

  • Backend PHP / MySQL / Docker;
  • Frontend Next.js / React.js / TypeScript / Netlify;
