Remote work.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage State and DEA pharmacy licensing requirements for all facility projects (includes new locations, relocations and closings).
  • Handle ongoing maintenance of the day to day State and Controlled licensure requirements of pharmacy operations (ie. Changes in hours of operation, pharmacist in charge, CSOS, etc.)
  • In conjunction with pharmacy and nonpharmacy leadership, strategically identifies opportunities to increase prescription growth, implements action plans and ensures ongoing maintenance and growth.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with non pharmacy leaders and team members to strengthen referrals to Aurora Pharmacy.
  • Works collaboratively with corporate growth and market development teams to align Rx growth activities with system priorities.
  • Works collaboratively with pharmacy leadership and team members to create and cascade Aurora Pharmacy marketing strategies and messages.
  • Provides operational support to Pharmacy leaders and team members as needed for onsite inventories, facility projects, hands on team member training, staff coverage, etc.
  • Owns keeping the the pharmacy onboarding and ongoing training resource materials up to date.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Licensure (IL only): State of Wisconsin (registration):
  • Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Student; Certification (CPhT) issued by PTCB or ExCPT
  • Patient facing teammates may be required to have two certifications:  Immunization and non-vaccine injectable to be granted from the state of WI or if from out of state, the program is approved by the accreditation council for pharmacy education (ACPE) or by the WI pharmacy examining board.  

Education Required:

  • High School Graduate.


Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in in a pharmacy technician role which includes experience in business development functions that include operations, marketing, project leadership, relationship management with internal and external customers, program development, business growth and results.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal relationship skill development essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing successful relationship building strategies, promoting products/services to new and existing partners.
  • Possess strong mathematical skills.
  • Must have high attention to detail and demonstrates ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and take initiative.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with prescription processing software (PDX or similar software), Microsoft office applications, electronic health information records, and electronic mail.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.

Pay Range

$23.65 - $35.50
