The People Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for the efficient administration of onboarding, offboarding, and all related processes, with a focus on identifying and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HRIS and ATS systems, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional employee support through our ticketing system, FreshService.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries through the FreshService ticketing system, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Administer the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and offboarding; partnering with Recruitment, HRBPs, and Total Rewards.
  • Design and deliver engaging onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success.
  • Identify and implement innovative process improvements that streamline operations and enhance efficiency, within the HR team and with our business partners like IT, Payroll, Finance and Legal.
  • Champion the use of automation and technology to optimize HR workflows.
  • Master our HRIS and ATS systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure all employee data is accurately entered and maintained within HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Assist with providing evidence during audits.
  • Pull standard reports from ATS & HRIS.
  • Create and maintain internal FAQs/knowledge base to improve efficiencies.
  • Maintain a global perspective, focusing on scale in order to deliver consistent results.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and additional projects based on the team’s needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Business Administration, HR or related field  
  • 3-5 years of experience within operations; preferably within a global HR or Recruitment function
  • Competent using technologyExperience maintaining electronic employee files and utilizing an ATS and HRIS for data management
  • Ability to look at processes from a global perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail driven
  • Highly motivated nature with an innate sense of urgency and positive can-do attitudeAdept at organization and time management with the ability to manage many conflicting priorities
  • Ability to assume responsibility; function effectively with others on the team or independently with minimal supervision

 

Salary Range: $68,000 - $85,000

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
