As a Finance Operations Analyst within the Finance Operations organization, you will play a critical role in enhancing the team's productivity and efficiency. You will support accounting and financial activities that assess and monitor performance, with a particular focus on product ID maintenance, price lists and compliance. This role will also contribute to ad-hoc projects related to product ID creation, client margin analysis, Oracle and Salesforce development, and reporting. Familiarity with basic accounting procedures and the ability to provide end-to-end support for the Finance Operations team is essential.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support system enhancements and process improvements within the Finance Operations team. 

  • Serve as the operational pricing liaison between multiple business units and Finance Operations, ensuring alignment with differing strategies. 

  • Own pricing review and approval matrices and compliance for each business unit. 

  • Improve product ID creation processes and pricing tools to foster seller independence and operational efficiency. 

  • Coordinate and generate consolidated reports to support internal clients and metric reporting for leadership. 

  • Support and strengthen the business partnership between Finance Operations and key stakeholders across the company. 

  • Provide direct support to clients, ensuring high-quality engagement and service where required. 

  • Leverage new technologies and software to resolve operational challenges and streamline processes. 

  • Maintain, monitor, and report on Oracle data through the Salesforce platform. 

  • Assist with annual audit support inquiries. 

  • Act as a tax liaison between the Finance Operations organization and Tax department. 

  • Support Finance Operations Leadership in Order to Cash functions as needed. 

 

Required Professional & Technical Experience: 

  • 2+ years of professional experience in finance operations. 

  • 1+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP or similar financial systems. 

  • Understanding of revenue recognition for SaaS and service-based products. 

  • Basic knowledge of pricing processes. 

  • Proven ability to manage coordination between internal teams and external clients. 

  • Comfortable working with a large, remote team and collaborating effectively across different time zones, including International. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. 

  • Experience coordinating across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration between multiple teams. 

  • Strong technical proficiency with experience in developing and maintaining accurate reporting tools. 

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Oracle ERP, and Microsoft Office 365 is preferred. 

  • Ability to handle complex tasks independently with minimal supervision. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Relevant experience to be taken into consideration in place of degree
