Job description

Kunai builds full-stack technology solutions for banks, credit and payment networks, infrastructure providers, and their customers. We are hiring a Backend Engineer to work on a cutting-edge payment solution for one of the largest and most technologically forward-thinking financial institutions in the world. You will shape the journey of a production solution that bridges the world of legacy Java/J2EE/Spring Boot applications with data pipelines and features managed using Python.

You must have:

4+ years of experience working with Python
Experience working with event-driven architecture
Know how to work in large-scale distributed systems
Be familiar with distributed computing tools such as EMR, Kafka, and Spark
Some experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or GraphDB
Experience with AWS (DynamoDB, ECS, Lambda)

You ideally have:

Some experience working with Java or Scala
Mastery of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of data warehouse platforms such Snowflake or Databricks.
