Job description

We are hiring a Backend Engineer to work on a cutting-edge payment solution for one of the largest and most technologically forward-thinking financial institutions in the world. You will shape the journey of a production solution that bridges the world of legacy Java/J2EE/Spring Boot applications with data pipelines and features managed using Python. 
 
You must have:
  • 4+ years of experience working with Python
  • Experience working with event-driven architecture
  • Know how to work in large-scale distributed systems
  • Be familiar with distributed computing tools such as EMR, Kafka, and Spark
  • Some experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or GraphDB
  • Experience with AWS (DynamoDB, ECS, Lambda)
You ideally have:
  • Some experience working with Java or Scala
  • Mastery of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of data warehouse platforms such Snowflake or Databricks.
