We are currently seeking a full-time Employee Relations Manager to join our HR team.



The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for monitoring all employee relations issues across the organization, striving to maintain consistency in practice and identifying areas where the company can build clarity in policy development and procedures.

Essential Duties:

  • Providing coaching, guidance, and supervision for a team of Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) in the field
  • Proactively partnering with Operational Leaders to develop people plans and metrics that enable clinical and program outcomes
  • Taking ownership of understanding state contract parameters and implications to HR practices
  • Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to build and implement talent programs
  • Developing tools to ensure that HR practitioners have what they need to perform their roles effectively
  • Leading initiatives to ensure policy development aligns with state and federal statutes
  • Monitoring employee relations policies and practices to ensure they are applied uniformly across all contracts
  • Monitoring the performance management process across the organization
  • Developing, writing, and periodically reviewing company policy and communicating changes when needed
  • Overseeing the quarterly analysis of tools used to monitor employee satisfaction and turnover
  • Maintaining the company handbook
  • Owning and driving corporate HR initiatives that are pushed out to the full company
  • Working alongside in-house counsel on difficult employee relations issues
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university required
  • Master's degree from accredited university preferred
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of Human Resource management experience in a mid-to-large company required 
  • Experience managing senior-level HR professionals who are geographically dispersed 
  • Expertise in the regulatory/statutory environment as it relates to employment laws and regulations 
  • Expertise in conflict resolution and managing complex employment charges and complaints 
  • Expertise in writing company policy and procedures 
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred
