Community Manager

Are you passionate about building engaged digital communities and connecting people around shared interests? Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Community Manager to help grow and nurture an online community for our new global platform.

About the Role

As a Community Manager, you will be the driving force behind community development and engagement. You’ll foster meaningful connections, spark conversation, moderate discussions, and ensure the platform remains a vibrant, inclusive, and safe space for all users.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute engagement strategies that keep users active and connected
  • Monitor community activity, moderate discussions, and uphold community standards
  • Create compelling and relevant content that drives conversation and interaction
  • Analyze user behavior and community metrics using tools such as Mixpanel or Google Analytics to guide strategy
  • Collect and synthesize user feedback via tools like Typeform or Google Forms
  • Communicate with users through push notifications and in-app messaging using platforms such as CleverTap or OneSignal
  • Identify and promote trending topics relevant to community interests
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and support teams to improve user experience based on feedback and data
  • Plan and host virtual events to strengthen community relationships
  • Coordinate with local representatives or contributors to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant for different regions or user segments
  • Uphold community safety and inclusivity at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in digital community management with a track record of growing and maintaining user engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with community engagement and analytics tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Experience in content creation and/or social media management
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment
