What makes you a great fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of RPM packaging and repository management.
• Expertise in network boot technologies, including HTTP Boot and PXE Boot.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
• Deep understanding of Linux system internals, including Initramfs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Upper-intermediate level of English.

Will be a plus:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or similar certification.
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools for securing Linux environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Your day-to-day in this position

• RHEL Image Creation: Develop and maintain stateless RHEL images, automate image creation processes.
• RPM Packaging: Create, maintain, and troubleshoot RPM packages for custom software and dependencies.
• Manage RPM repositories and ensure consistency and compatibility across packages.
• Boot Mechanisms: Configure and manage HTTP Boot and PXE Boot environments for automated provisioning of RHEL systems.
• Develop and customize Initramfs images to support diverse hardware and software configurations.
• Troubleshoot boot issues and optimize boot processes for performance and reliability.
