We are looking for an independent yet collaborative, self-motivated individual to join our team! You will support our Technical Services Specialists and Technical Services Engineer who sell IDEXX products and services to customers over the phone. This role directly impacts drive revenue for the veterinary software and services team. If you like process, strive for accuracy and enjoy administrative tasks, this role may be for you!
What to expect?
Distribute sales leads to the correct salesperson assigned to that territory.
Inventory hardware for veterinary practices and send to Technical Services Specialist.
Maintains contact database with accurate profiles, notes and opportunity information.
Accept and process customer orders.
Request financial approval if needed.
Schedule Technical Services Specialist time with customer to review hardware and set installation and ship date.
Process hardware returns.
Sell Cornerstone peripherals, seats, and modules. May schedule training.
Backup peripheral sales representatives.
What do you need to succeed?
2-3 years’ successful sales, contract processing, project management, or customer service experience involving direct customer contact.
Strong attention to detail and process a must.
Experience with Excel and Outlook a must.
Experience with SAP, Salesforce a plus.
Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning.
Sales ability/persuasiveness.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly.
Capability to absorb and articulate technical information.
Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
