POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Representative/Recruiter is a versatile role focused on recruitment (50%) while supporting general HR functions (50%). This position plays a key role in sourcing and attracting top talent to meet organizational needs while ensuring HR operations align with company policies and best practices. The percentage of responsibilities may change based on business need.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment (50%)
•    Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
•    Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
•    Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate engagement, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
•    Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely tracking of candidate pipelines.
•    Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies to build a strong talent pipeline.
•    Track recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and quality of hire, and report on trends.


Generalist HR Functions (50%)
•    Assist in onboarding new hires and presenting in new hire orientation, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization as well as offboarding employees.
•    Provide HR administrative support including processing employment verifications and vendor invoices for payments.
•    Support the administration of HR policies and programs, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
•    Participate in HR projects, such as open enrollment, process improvements and policy updates.
•    Administer probationary / semi-annual reviews.
•    Address employee inquiries regarding recruitment, benefits, and HR policies.
•    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
•    Maintain employee records and HR documentation with confidentiality and accuracy.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Minimum 2–4 years of recruitment experience, with additional exposure to HR generalist responsibilities preferred.
•    Strong understanding of HR principles including recruitment best practices, benefits administration, and employment laws.
•    Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms like ADP and BambooHR preferred.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
•    Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.


Compensation$75,000 - $80,000
