As the Director of Performance Analytics & Insights, you will lead the strategy and execution of data-driven marketing decisions to optimize pipeline generation, campaign performance, and overall marketing ROI. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing analytics frameworks, providing actionable insights, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B marketing metrics, data infrastructure, and advanced analytical techniques. 

This role reports directly to the SVP of Field Marketing & Operations and is a key member of the Marketing Operations leadership team. This role requires high cross-team collaboration. 

As a Director of Performance Analytics & Insights you will:

  • Strategic Planning & KPI Development: Design & maintain a comprehensive marketing KPI strategy aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing goals with overall company strategy.

  • Reporting & Visualization: Oversee the design, implementation & launch of visually compelling dashboards & reports that deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders.

  • ROI Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to evaluate the ROI of marketing campaigns and recommend optimizations. 

  • Marketing Attribution: Implement & refine attribution models to understand the impact of different marketing channels on revenue outcomes. Analyze marketing program efforts, providing regular updates to leadership on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives (Board Decks, QBR Templates).

  • Data Strategy & Infrastructure: Work closely with marketing operations, sales operations and Field Systems teams to ensure clean, accurate & accessible marketing data within Salesforce, Marketo, Cloudera Data Analytics Platform and Tableau.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, finance & marketing teams to ensure alignment on KPIs, target setting & data interpretation

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of marketing analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Provide guidance on best practices, analytical methodologies, and industry trends.

We’re excited about you if you have

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, sales operations or marketing operations within a B2B tech environment

  • 5+ years people management experience

  • Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce), marketing analytics platforms (Customer Journey Analytics/Adobe Analytics) and marketing automation tools (Marketo).

  • Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization tools (Tableau) and SQL for data analysis

  • Strong understanding of demand generation, customer journey, and account-based marketing strategies.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations & finance teams to drive alignment on key metrics & insights.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership

  • Excellent communication & storytelling skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences

  • Experience leading and scaling a marketing analytics team

  • Ability to build a strategic project based on business needs and drive the team towards deadlines and results
