Position Overview

The Supply Chain Distribution Network Analyst is responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing the distribution network of medical devices within the EMEA (Europe , Middle East & Africa) region. This role ensures an efficient, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain that meets business goals and delivers high level of service to customers across the region.

How you will make an Impact:

  • Design and implement a robust distribution network tailored to the unique challenges of the EMEA region, including financial business case.
  • Evaluate and select warehousing, transportation, and logistics providers to meet business needs. Lead contact and end responsible for Transportation 3PL RFQ’s. Owning SLA´s, KPI’s, contracts and renewals.
  • Develop strategies to balance cost, service levels, and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments to address potential disruptions and develop contingency plans.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for network efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Understand the diverse regulatory requirements, customs procedures, and logistics challenges across the EMEA region, specifically for Middle East.
  • Work closely with internal teams, business operations, quality, and regulatory. Acting as point person for internal stakeholders related to warehousing and distribution questions.
  • Collaborate with external partners such as 3PLs, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies to maintain seamless operations.
  • Leverage supply chain management tools, data analytics, and forecasting software to optimize the network.
  • Support audits and implement corrective actions for warehousing and distribution complaints.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain design, logistics, or distribution, preferably in the medical device or healthcare sector.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex distribution networks across multiple countries.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate cultural diversity and build relationships across borders.
  • General knowledge about Customs and Trade Compliance regulations in the region as well as incoterms use.
  • Certifications: APICS CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar supply chain certifications are a plus.
