POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Parts & Service Manager provides complete Service and Parts field support to assigned TMBC dealerships within BPS, CAB or Free-Standing locations focusing on outfitter development and customer service while ensuring company standards and expectations are met. Serving the Southwest region (MO, TX, TN, LA, OK, AL, MS, AZ), this position requires residency within the territory, proximity to major airport travel, and a strong preference for candidates located in Texas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Implements programs and processes to improve parts and service performance to meet TMBC objectives.
Prepares for and actively participate in regularly scheduled and ad hoc calls to manage and/or implement programs or policy updates.
Monitors store performance and provides recommendations to maximize Service and Parts Department productivity and financial deliverables including sales of Labor, Sublet, Parts and their related margins.
Conducts regular visits to TMBC locations to support operational execution and provide summary of visits to Store and TMBC Senior Management.
Ensures all aspects of the TMBC Service System are consistently in place and provide training toward their execution including Work Order processing, Warranty Claim processing and Parts Department functions.
Monitors service and parts CSI scores and trends.
Coaches and collaborates with store management to continuously improve results.
Participates in the selection and development of TMBC Service Manager position and key hourly positions by request, assisting with the coordination of training and the outlining of performance expectations per applicable job descriptions and culture of the organization.
Monitors, reports and addresses significant parts/service issues.
Escalates product quality concerns to appropriate members of vendor Warranty and Customer Service Teams and assist with their resolution.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Boating Industry Retail and/or Wholesale Management, preferably with TMBC or WRMG.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margins and percentages.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of other financial, legal, and technical information.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner establishing effective working relationships with vendors, customers, and co-workers.
Ability to read and analyze certain reports, write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.
Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
Foster a culture that promotes a positive and productive experience for all customers and outfitters; encourage feedback for improvement.
Ability to perform and train others on the use of various computer applications and processes, including word processing, spreadsheets, database management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive travel during the work week for 2 to 3 weeks per month.
