Job Overview 

Mitratech is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team who will be asked to draw upon Agile development knowledge and project management skills to increase the effectiveness of product development execution and drive scale and efficiency with internal partners. Working with our team requires a unique blend of business acumen and technical skills demonstrated through the ability to articulate well to developers and just as easily to executives. You will partner with other Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, and UXUI to understand, communicate and implement the product priorities across projects assigned to your team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-Perform current state analysis, requirements analysis, gap analysis, risk assessment, and other related tasks as needed per project requirements.

· Develop & execute an integrated product strategy across multiple market segments and geography

· Define milestones (with details) to achieve a roadmap

· Partner with peer product managers to execute a roadmap

· Drive conversations with multiple stakeholders to logical agreement around product direction, messaging, positioning and go to market strategies

· Write clear, complete functional specifications and system use cases for business requirements and high-level design documentation.

· Present / demo to customers, prospects, peers and leadership

· Collaborate closely with Product Management team, to ensure alignment on product strategy

· Partner with Technical Project Manager, UX Designer, and Development team to execute on prioritized projects

· Interact with a global customer base for project discovery, client working groups, validation of customer adoption and success

· Develop product / project metrics and a means to measure success from a financial & end use

Requirements & Skills:

-3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, partner or customer advisory role, or similar experience

· Experience/Familiarity with Agile methodologies

· Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on user-centered discovery

· Comfortable communicating to internal and external stakeholders at various levels

· Familiar with common development and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint and Productboard (not mandatory)

· Knowledge of methodologies for prioritization

· Strong project management skills; document, socialize & archive product artifacts

· Familiarity with platform product strategy, packaging & development execution (not mandatory)

· Ability to conceptualize, visualize and articulate product ideas

· Have excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

· Proven ability to execute multiple deliverables concurrently with strong attention to detail

· Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance

· Prior experience or background with human resources departments (not mandatory)

Education:                         

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
