Overview and purpose of the role – How you will help us:

The Content Marketing Manager India is responsible for implementing under supervision of the Marketing Manager India, the local content strategy in the country. This content strategy will be based on the global Solplanet content strategy and include the local implementation across owned, earned and bought media channels.  This role will coordinate the company’s local communication channels, with a special focus on social media, newsletter, and blog articles. The aim is to contribute to the overall growth of brand awareness, strengthening of the brand positioning in the market, fostering the perception of a trusted and respected brand, and engage with target audiences to support the company’s growth objectives.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: implement and localize the global content strategy across digital channels (Social Media, Newsletter, Blog) and ensure effective execution within the local Indian market.
  • Local Newsletter: Develop and implement an engaging, data-driven newsletter aligned with the global newsletter strategy, including content creation, coordination, and management to increase subscriber engagement.
  • Asset creation: creation of digital assets for implementation of content strategy across channels
  • SEO Strategy: Under guidance of the Marketing Manager India, ensure the implementation of a content roadmap that enhances search engine visibility and drives organic traffic.
  • Content Calendar Management: Oversee and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely delivery of content across all channels.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Track content performance and identify areas for optimization, driving a continuous improvement and learning process.
  • Community and MQL Management: Manage community engagement and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) within the CRM

Key stakeholders

This role will closely collaborate with:

  • Solplanet Digital Marketing Manager: alignment for cohesion between global and local content strategy
  • Solplanet Central Marketing Team: alignment for cohesion between content marketing, performance marketing and PR based on brand strategy and roadmap. and product launch roadmap
  • Local Marketing Manager and Sales Director: ensure understanding of local priorities and requirements to support the achievement of local business and sales targets

 

Performance metrics

  • Social Media Performance: Growth of the community, engagement rates, reach, and content performance (likes, shares, comments).
  • Newsletter Success: Open rates, click-through rates (CTR), subscriber growth, and overall engagement.
  • Website Traffic Contribution: Increase in organic traffic from content efforts (SM, blog articles, etc.).
  • Content Effectiveness: Measure content’s contribution to lead generation, brand awareness, and conversion.

Requirements

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in on content marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of common social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and their functionalities, including organic strategies, paid campaign options, and performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in the use of graphic design and asset creation tools such as canva
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to various channels.
  • Fluency in English and Indian
  • Interest in the solar energy industry. Prior work experience in a PV-related industry is not a necessity but will be an advantage.
