Position Summary:
The Services Manager at Bentley Systems will lead a professional services team within the Americas region focusing on services for the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (ProjectWise and Synchro), ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality technical services that meet Bentley software users’ goals. As a Services Manager, you will manage the team of software consultants to align with company objectives while enabling users’ success with Bentley software.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Lead a diverse and virtually organized Services team to meet both team and company objectives
- Manage team members’ assignments and schedules to meet utilization targets according to team and corporate priorities.
- Oversee Services initiatives, whether directly managed by own team, self, or other colleagues at Bentley.
- Coordinate and prepare services and training related proposals including scoping, estimates, schedules and financial parameters.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among team members and with adjacent teams.
- Provide business reports to the Services Director and other company leadership.
- Empower team members to take responsibility for their jobs and goals creating accountability.
- Provide performance evaluations for the team through structured performance appraisals and regular feedback.
- Guide and direct team members in the area of career development.
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall Bentley mission and values.
- Maintain employee work schedules including training, holidays and paid time off, and cover for absenteeism.
- This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week based out of the United States.
- Travel to customer sites, user conferences, internal meetings may be required.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
- Communication through virtual communication tools, such as Microsoft Team is required.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Bachelors degree or closely related degree is required.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role in an associated industry where ProjectWise is used, or direct experience using ProjectWise while leading a team.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team. Management experience of a virtual team is beneficial.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately up to 25% of the time.
- Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex issues and solutions to audiences of different levels of knowledge and seniority.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to quickly adapt to change.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think strategically as well as implement tactically
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills; ability to quickly adapt and react to changing circumstances and demands with high attention to detail.
- English language is required. Spanish language is beneficial.
