Job description

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role will serve as the first line of support for the reporting team and will report to the Senior Data Analyst. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with scoping new requirements for projects. this position is remote however, candidates living in Houston, TX and Davenport, IA and there surrounding areas are preferred as occasional In-office meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

·       Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Sage X3 database to become the primary resource for system-related inquiries.

·       Provide prompt and effective Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end users, addressing their questions and requests related to reporting.

·       Collaborate on reporting projects to educate and train users on how to access and utilize the data presented in reports effectively.

·       Provide scoping and outlines for requests related to new reporting projects.

·       Manage requests for the reporting team to ensure visibility regarding priorities and workload.

·       Document ticket resolutions thoroughly using Service Desk Plus, and smartsheets.

·       Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and motivation within a team-oriented environment.
