Position Overview
As a Mid+ Full Stack React/Node.js Developer, you will have the pivotal role of developing state-of-the-art, responsive web applications with a strong emphasis on React. Collaborating closely with designers, data scientists, and your fellow engineers, your work will ensure seamless integration with backend technologies like Node.js and Postgres to enhance trucking operations through innovative, cloud-native solutions. Your responsibilities include engaging in design and code reviews, diagnosing production issues, and supporting QA and customer support activities. This position allows you to shape user experiences that are integral to the efficiency and growth of the trucking industry, all while advancing your career within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop highly functional, responsive web applications using React and modern frameworks/tools according to mockups, wireframes, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and data scientists, to design intuitive and user-friendly product experiences.
  • Participate in detailed design and code reviews to ensure adherence to high-quality development standards.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end production incidents related to performance, usability, and browser compatibility.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities by reviewing automated tests and conducting manual frontend UX validation.
  • Assist with tier-2 customer support by troubleshooting and resolving complex front-end issues reported by users.

Required Skills & Experience&
  • 3+ years of front-end web development experience with a strong emphasis on React.
  • 3+ years of backend experience (Node.js and Postgres) for seamless backend integration.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for building scalable UI components.
  • Familiarity with functional, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing methodologies.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or proven equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of responsive design principles.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with GraphQL for enhanced data querying capabilities.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Sketch for collaborative design processes.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques for faster loading web applications.
  • Additional certifications in web development or related fields.
