Description

Infoblox is seeking a motivated Sales Solutions Architect Intern to join our North American Solutions Architect team. In this remote role, the ideal intern will assist in providing pre-sales technical support for complex products and solutions, working with experienced Solutions Architects and sales staff to understand customer needs and design applicable solutions. They will work closely with our Solutions Architecture team, supporting the sales process by overcoming technical barriers and positioning Infoblox solutions. A large portion of the time during the internship will be spent learning the technologies through a structured Technical Enablement program and shadowing opportunities to understand the technical components of the sales process at an Enterprise SaaS technology company.

What You'll Do:

  • Gain exposure to the sales process & cycle for Enterprise and Commercial size customers & prospects 
  • Assist in pre-sales activities, including discovery, demos, solution design, presentations, and RFP/RFI support.
  • Assist the Solution Architects team in the development and management of the design document process.
  • Support workshops, assessments, and proof of values.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals
  • Attend and participate in customer and marketing events.
  • Assist in the development pre-sales engineering content, including presentations and meeting readiness documents.
  • Observe Solution Architects educate and enable partner technical sales teams about Infoblox solutions and technologies.
  • Shadow and Support the Solution Architects and Sales teams navigate the customer sales lifecycle  

What You'll Bring:

  • Basic understanding or passionate interest in IT technologies such as IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. 
  • Interest in cloud and security technologies, with a willingness to learn about AWS, Azure, VMWare, container, and security best practices.
  • Understanding and experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Applications, Google Suite Applications, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the ability to actively listen.
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment; coachable.
  • Professionalism, especially when interacting with customers or leadership.
  • Comfortable to participate and engage in dialogue

Education:

  • Junior, senior, or 2024 graduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Security or a related field

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, and education. Please keep in mind that the rate mentioned is the hourly rate for the role. The typical hourly rate for this position based in California and New York is $32 per hour. The typical hourly rate for this position based in Washington and Colorado is $28 per hour. 

While we may be working remotely from different locations, collaboration and teamwork is built into all we do. This is a paid, full-time 40 hours per week internship that could lead to a permanent full-time position post-graduation.
