Title: Part time Dietitian - Telehealth
Location: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital – Albany, GA
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide clinical care for patients at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The Clinical Dietitian will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nutrition care to our patients.
Aramark’s Digitally Enabled Care telehealth solution delivers the optimal remote patient experience by providing audio-visual touchpoints to facilitate comprehensive medical nutrition therapy (MNT). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, providing evidence-based MNT to a diverse patient population utilizing audio-visual telehealth technology. The Clinical Dietitian will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans to positively impact patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional status and develop personalized nutrition care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress towards achieving nutrition goals
- Provide nutrition education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required
- Licensed Dietitian status in Georgia or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
- Outpatient bariatric experience preferred
- At least 1 year of clinical practice experience required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition
