Position Summary

This position is with the Actuarial Services and Medical Economics (ASME) team at MultiCare Connected Care (MCC), The ASME team defines, measures, implements, and tracks system-wide initiatives in support of the healthcare triple aim: improve patient experience, increase population health, and reduce total cost of care.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in identifying opportunities and monitoring performance within value-based contracts

  • Update databases, reporting packages, and presentations on a monthly basis

  • Improve efficiency of current processes

  • Extract and analyze data using SQL and Excel

  • Develop and produce draft reports using health care claims data to provide clear, actionable information to the organization. 

  • Document and performs self-review on all work products

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required in Health Administration, Public Health, Finance, Accounting, Business, Actuarial Science, or related field

  • An undergraduate degree in an unrelated field may be accepted provided a Master’s degree is held in Health Administration, Public Health, Finance, Business, Actuarial Science, or related field

  • One (1) year experience in large data analysis, financial processes, and information systems required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $66,331.00 - $95,451.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
