Responsibilities

Manage and input resident information into our state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring utmost accuracy and strict HIPAA compliance
Take charge of setting up and maintaining our QuickBooks accounting system, including creating a comprehensive chart of accounts from scratch
Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, helping to keep our finances organized and up-to-date
Craft engaging monthly activity schedules and calendars for residents, enhancing their quality of life and social engagement
Provide crucial administrative support to keep our facility running like a well-oiled machine
Collaborate closely with our care team to ensure seamless communication and top-notch resident care
Adapt quickly to new technologies and processes, contributing to our culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

Proven experience with EMR systems and healthcare data entry, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Proficiency in QuickBooks, including the ability to set up and manage new accounts
Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment
Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of elderly or assisted living residents
Experience in healthcare settings is highly preferred, but candidates with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn quickly will also be considered
