Director, Infrastructure

We are seeking a versatile senior IT people leader with a sound technical background to lead global Infrastructure and Cloud teams. This role is pivotal in driving our technology strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation with a security and customer mindset. Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and coach leaders, program managers, engineers, and architects.
  • Build and maintain high-performance teams in a distributed work environment.
  • Attract and retain the talent and ability to form and develop teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and efficiency to attract and retain top talent.
  • Shape and drive the global strategy for infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Provide clarity of purpose for their team and articulate a clear vision and strategy.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and core principles.
  • Drive and manage budgets, resources, programs, and initiatives that help achieve our OKR’s.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders using both technical and non-technical language.
  • Facilitate effective communication across global teams and departments.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in technology and processes.
  • Evangelize and guide in the establishment of a DevOps mindset and supporting organizational model.
  • Apply engineering leadership and software engineering practices at scale
  • Drive cross CIO-Org activities promoting a culture of innovation and engineering excellence
  • Lead teams through the management and transformation of global and cloud network, cloud services such as AWS, Azure, workstations, mobile devices, and collaboration platforms at an enterprise level.
  • Monitor, evaluate and stay updated of industry trends and disrupting threats and opportunities and drive technology advancements.
  • Advocate and drive Agile methodologies to promote self-driven teams, enhance productivity for better product delivery.
  • Work closely with Portfolio teams, product owners, and business to ensure delivery of initiatives and continuously review and improve processes to help for a more efficient flow of work.
  • Work closely with product, design, and other engineering/architect teams to align strategies
  • Drive and build team and product roadmaps with measurable outcomes that align to our CIO-suite strategy.
  • Ensure all decisions and solutions are founded on principles of security, quality, resilience, and scalability.
  • Partner with Information Security teams and support the adoption of our Zero Trust and security programs across platforms and services.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Leadership courses and formal trainings is a plus
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Experience of driving large scale, enterprise-wide transformation, including the culture and mindset of a group to embrace new and improved ways of using technology.
  • Demonstrated presence to effectively represent IT and the corporation externally and to key vendors. Interaction with technology officers and internal customers will be an important component.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and able to independently drive resolution of issues and challenges.
  • Passionate for creating a great User Experience
  • Strong strategic and creative thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies.
  • Technical certifications across AWS, Microsoft, and Network
