Simply put, our people are what make us great – we need forward-thinking, inspired game-changers like you to join us in our mission.

So, what’s the role?

We’re looking for a seasoned analytical marketing leader to optimize and scale our channel and contact strategy. In this highly visible and strategic role, you and your team will be accountable for all growth channels (except aggregators) with a total budget in the tens of millions per year. You’ll need to closely collaborate with the Growth & Risk Analytics teams, Sales, Rev Ops and Product.

As Director of Growth, you’ll lead a lean team of 4-6 search, direct mail, re-marketing and TV marketers. You will drive growth by leveraging data & analytics to create actionable targeting strategies, and robust testing agenda across the customer journey to fuel profitable business growth. In addition to our proven channels, you’ll experiment your way into finding and scaling new growth channels.

We are looking for a problem solver who has proven experience translating data into actionable channel growth and efficiency strategies. Structured thinking, sound business judgment, strong communication and influencing skills, and a track record of building strong, collaborative, cross-functional partnerships will be critical to success in this role.

A day in the life could include:

  • Developing and executing multi-channel growth strategies to acquire and retain customers efficiently.

  • Managing and optimizing key marketing channels including paid search, direct mail, TV, and re-marketing to maximize growth at our target payback period.

  • Leveraging data and analytics to measure, test, and refine marketing performance, ensuring effective attribution and budget allocation.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Design, Sales, Product, Compliance, and Analytics teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.

  • Identifying and implementing new channels and opportunities for customer acquisition and engagement.

  • Managing agency and vendor relationships to optimize performance and drive innovation in marketing execution.

  • Hiring and developing marketing talent to scale a high-performing team in sync with the business needs.

I’ve got skills...but do I have the necessary ones?

  • 8+ years of experience in Growth roles, with at least the majority of those years focused on direct-to-consumer businesses

  • 4+ years of experience managing direct response channels with a budget of >$20M

  • 4+ years of hiring, managing, and developing a team of direct reports

  • Track record of leveraging data and insights to design innovative growth strategies that result in tangible business success

  • Ability to create compelling business cases for hypothesis-driven testing

  • Successful track record of effectively working cross-functionally with key stakeholders outside of your department

  • Proven executive-level communications skills and presence

  • Self-driven and capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction

Bonus Points

  • Experience working at a fast-paced, growth-stage startup is a plus

  • Experience working in financial services or regulated industries is preferred but not required

Oh, and don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

We offer a comprehensive benefits program, allowing you to choose the benefits that are best for you and your family including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Disability Insurance options, Employee Assistance Program, as well as elective voluntary benefits such as accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness, legal assistance and pet insurance.
