The Telephone Services Representative is to contact, follow up with and retrieve medical records from individual physicians, medical groups and hospitals, provide appropriate authorization documents, and follow up with facilities until the medical records have been received.
Responsibilities
• Contacting individual physicians, medical groups and hospitals with appropriate authorization documents to retrieve records
• Follow up with office until medical records have been received
• Maintain time-service, quality and production goals using good work queue management and customer service skills
• Maintain a high level of customer service skills. Present a friendly and professional demeanor
• Handles a high volume of continuous telephone calls and gathers needed information in a timely manner.
• Performs multiple tasks simultaneously
• Perform both individually and as a team to meet daily production expectations
• Maintain a high level of customer service skills, present a friendly and professional demeanor
• Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding customer issues
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills, particularly strong business writing skills

• Type 30+ WPM
• Although this position is remote, incumbent must reside in a state that ReleasePoint currently has presence in: AZ, CA, CT, IL, MO, NC, OK, KY, TX, NJ, or WA.
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent

• One year of experience in life/health insurance related field or other medical environment is preferred; however, candidates with strong customer, call center, and/or collections experience are encouraged to apply
