Senior Front End Developer (Angular)

Working as a member of the innovation team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing the frontend Angular application.
• Ensuring work is designed and built for speed and scalability.
• Ensure code is tested, well documented and clean.

• A minimum of four years’ relevant experience in a software development role with strong web development experience
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A proven track record of delivering software products that meet customer needs and business goals, using agile and lean methodologies within a SaaS environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• A passion for coding, data, innovation, and customer-centricity, and a curiosity to learn and explore new technologies and opportunities.
• Be hands on, involved in all aspects of the delivery process, especially in ensuring software quality and timeliness of delivery.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Front End:
• Angular 17+ and TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript etc.
• Strong experience in using and consuming Web-based APIs (REST).
• Experience of handling different data formats including JSON, XML, database schemas.
• Experience of Visual Code and or Visual Studio.
• Experience and current usage of GitHub CoPilot
• 
  Processes:
• Full life cycle experience and use of Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM).
• Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and branch strategies.
• Frontend Test automation tools and unit testing frameworks.
• Appreciation for clean and well documented code.
• 
  While not essential for the role an understanding and some experience pr knowledge of the following will be beneficial.
  
  Middle Tier:
• The platform uses Microsoft Azure and experience of Microsoft tools will be very advantageous. E.g., C#, ASP.NET, Dot Net Core, MVC.
• Experience of Python, Node.js would also be very valued.
• Experience developing and managing REST APIs, versioning, and design patterns.
• 
  Data Tier:
• SQL Data storage patterns including SQL, schemas, stored procedures etc.
• SQL Azure, CosmosDB, MongoDB, Azure storage, No SQL will be beneficial.
• Experience of data analysis tools and use of AI/ML highly desirable including Azure Cognitive (AI) Search.
• ETL, data factories, Web Scrapping etc
• 
  Infrastructure:
• Experience of developing and hosting on Microsoft’s Azure platform especially use of Application Insights and or Google Analytics will be very valuable.
• AWS and Oracle Cloud hosting also valuable
