We are looking for:
- A Global Trade Operations Leader who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a company's global trade activities, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, leading international logistics strategy and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
We count on you for:
- Lead Customs Operations regionally, as well as International Logistics which include Freight Forwarding, Ocean Freight and Air freight modal strategy
- Collaborate with Trade Compliance to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including customs, export control, and sanctions laws.
- Manage the import/export documentation processes, including preparation of shipping documents, customs declarations, and bills of lading.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including licensing, classification, and reporting requirements.
- Build, Develop and Lead a strategy and implementation of International logistics, encompassing optimizing Freight Forwarding and Cross border logistics
- Develop and maintain relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other service providers to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and compliance, to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, including the use of technology, automation, and process improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including shipment volumes, cycle time, and compliance metrics, and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on import/export regulations and compliance.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Masters degree is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, with hands on experience in Logistics and Trade Operations
- Experience in the Chemical Industry is a plus
- People leadership experience is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, cross-regional and in a global team environment
- Demonstrate negotiation skills and relationship building, including with external parties
You will get:
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $169,000 to $210,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
