Job description

Needed: Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)

Location: Chino, California

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

We seek to hire a talented licensed mental health counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to work with our multidisciplinary team. Join us now and get the opportunity to deliver quality care while maintaining a work-life balance. 

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality outpatient therapy for adults in need of mental health support and substance use treatment
  • Provide individual and group therapy, while assessing and tracking clients’ stages of change readiness and recovery
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and billings within 24 hours, in compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and CARF standards
  • Build mutual, collaborative, and individualized treatment alliances, adapting to clients' changing clinical needs
  • Regularly assess treatment progress with clients and the clinical team
  • Connect with patients to support services, referral sources, family members, and other providers to ensure holistic care
  • Engage in assessments, collaborative treatment plans, BAMs, discharge planning, and partnerships with referral sources & providers
  • Participate in staff meetings, clinical team meetings, therapy supervision, and in-service training
  • Ensure all client records, treatment plans, and communications meet professional, ethical, and legal standards
  • Work independently and efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and treatment strategies in mental health care

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, or a clinically related field
  • Active California license in good standing (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)
  • Medicaid, Medicare, and other commercial insurance accredited (required)
  • Experience with adult clients in a behavioral health or substance use setting
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse utilization review process preferred
  • Comfortable working with various virtual communication tools and platforms
