Job description

The Visual/Production Designer focuses on the design of a range of internal and external visual solutions that span from individual design elements, tools & processes, to multi-channel visual executions. They assess current materials and create new templates and tools to reinforce our brand and support our business needs. Adept at shifting gears between projects and between mediums, the Visual/Production Designer will ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. This role combines business and design skills to support design best practices across the Marketing team. 

Responsabilities:

  • Works with Marketing Leadership to prioritize and manage projects, generate concepts, and continuously improve processes. 
  • Designs and produces digital and physical marketing materials by implementing Point B company’s visual strategy and system across a wide variety of deliverables. Typical deliverables can include various presentations, event materials, infographics, social media images, email newsletter visuals, wireframes, stationary, and other marketing assets as needs emerge.  
  • Leads requirements gathering and uses company´s visual design approach, tools, and processes to determine project goals and deliver great business outcome.  
  • Builds company´s visual brand guidelines and assets library, including creating and maintaining user-ready visual assets and native files 
  • Designs and produces visual experiences that clarify complex subjects to create understanding and action, utilizing the full scope of creative methods and skills (graphic design, photo treatment, storytelling, illustrations, and data visualization) 
  • Participates in planning activities about design work throughout the year (e.g., daily and weekly meetings, roadmap, and schedule) 
  • Owns successful delivery of design projects 
  • Maximizes ROI of the work by coordinating projects, managing expectations and priorities, project scoping, user and client relationships, and issue & risk management 
  • Builds strong relationships across the marketing team to collaborate, work, share ideas and innovate   
  • Continuously develops self and stays current, actively transfer tools and knowledge 
  • Acts as an advocate for best-in-class design, champion visual best practices, and tools to ensure successful change and adoption 
  • Supports team efforts and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams 
  • Consistently demonstrates and lives company´s cultural tenets and values   

Requirements

  • Worked 5+ years designing materials for professional services and/or technology company 
  • Advanced english (fluent) C1/C2
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint 
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications, the SharePoint work environment, and Monday.com desirable 
  • Worked with business teams to elicit and prioritize their needs and help translate them into professional-looking graphics and branded materials 
  • Designed graphics that support business concepts such as process descriptions, consulting approaches, user stories, and project outcomes  
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Developed the ability to work independently and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders 
  • Developed strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects  
  • Experience with UI/UX Design, inclusive/universal design, or kinetic design a plus
