We are looking for a Distribution Sales Manager responsible for coordinating with distributors to expand Barracuda’s customer base and acquire net new customers. In this role you will establish and maintain relationships with distribution partners, manages distribution coverage, working along local sales team to develop partner sales opportunities.
What you will be working on:
Coordinates with distributors to grow Barracuda’s customer base through expansion and acquisition of net-new partners, which include both resellers and MSPs
Supports sales development and management of Barracuda brand products, including but not limited to, channel development, MSP development, management and training
Meets regional and individual sales objectives with accurate forecasting with account executives and consistently outperforming sales quotas
Collaborates with local sales team and partners for sales development and management of Barracuda brand products
Executes action plans and manages C-Level and senior level relationships within organizations
Tracks distributor performance by reviewing their pipeline and accounts for processing orders with available credit and no minor mistakes
Works along local sales team and system integrators for sales development and management of Barracuda brand products
Provides training and resources to help distributors and junior team members understand how to use Barracuda product/services effectively
Leverages specialized distribution knowledge in breadth and/or depth to a variety of issues/projects within the team
Works in a project-oriented manner contributing towards team-level goals, and works closely with multiple teams to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
What you bring to the role
5+ years of experience in account management, channel management, vendor management, sales & distribution or equivalent
Proven success working with MSPs or channel partners
Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across sales, channel, product, and marketing team
Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skill
Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
