As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for validating infotainment and driver connectivity systems in modern vehicles. You will develop and execute test plans, conduct manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality user experience. This role involves working with CAN tools, HIL testing, software debugging, and compliance with industry standards.


Engagement Details:

  • Length: 12 months contract with possible extension
  • Allocation: 100%, full-time
  • Start date: March-April
  • Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, or Danang
  • Freelancers accepted


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute test cases for infotainment and driver connectivity systems.
  • Perform manual and automated UI testing for navigation, multimedia, and smartphone integration.
  • Validate infotainment software across Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and radio systems.
  • Debug software issues using CANoe, JIRA, and HIL test benches.
  • Document test results, report defects, and work with engineers on software improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in infotainment, navigation, or automotive software testing.
  • Experience with HIL testing tools (Dspace, NI, or Vector tools).
  • Strong understanding of infotainment UX/UI testing, system integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, or scripting languages for automation is a plus.
