In this role, you will:

Development & Customization

  • Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and modifications using X++ and other D365 F&O technologies.
  • Work on form development, workflows, reports, and security roles within D365 F&O.
  • Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.
  • Debug and troubleshoot custom code, security permissions, workflows, and integrations.

Integration & Data Management

  • Develop and maintain integrations using Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, REST APIs, and Azure services.
  • Implement Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Service Bus for cloud-based integrations.
  • Support data migration, ETL processes, and ongoing data maintenance.
  • Technical Leadership & Best Practices
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and performance optimizations.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, solution designs, and sprint planning.
  • Stay updated on new Microsoft technologies, releases, and industry trends.

Testing & Deployment

  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure system stability.
  • Support automated and manual testing processes with QA teams.
  • Manage deployments using Azure DevOps, LCS (Lifecycle Services), and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and best practices.
  • Support end-users and provide technical training when necessary.

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O.
  • Strong proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
  • Experience with D365 F&O extensions, event handlers, and custom data entities.
  • Expertise in REST APIs, OData, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Service Bus.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Familiarity with DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based source control.
  • Strong understanding of D365 security framework, role-based access control, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft LCS (Lifecycle Services) for environment management.
