The Opportunity
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and executive leadership to define and execute data-driven research and analytics strategies that directly contribute to revenue growth and market expansion. This includes leading the development and refinement of predictive models, creating insightful executive-level dashboards and reports, and conducting advanced analyses to deliver actionable insights.
- Translate complex performance and sales metrics, investigations, and findings into tangible business outcomes, driving continuous improvement and optimization. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, identify areas for strategic intervention, and maximize business impact.
- Proactively investigate and communicate emerging market trends, identifying root causes of performance fluctuations and recommending strategic follow-up actions to capitalize on opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform executive decision-making.
- Leverage advanced spatial analytics techniques and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software to create interactive maps and visualizations, informing market strategy formulation for targeted prospecting, market penetration, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive research strategies to identify high-potential leads and contract opportunities, utilizing a variety of data sources and analytical tools.
- Qualify leads and opportunities based on data-driven insights, ensuring efficient distribution to Sales and executive leaders and supporting successful client engagements.
- Provide critical data analysis and insights to support the development of compelling business proposals, marketing content, and presentations.
- This includes synthesizing complex hospital performance metrics and facilitating internal data requests to create impactful narratives for existing and potential clients.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from executive leadership and internal stakeholders for in-depth data analysis, visualizations, commentary, and strategic recommendations.
- Deliver clear and concise presentations that effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Propose and implement cutting-edge market research methodologies, ensuring the most effective approach to gathering insights that drive critical business initiatives and maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct thorough market research analysis and monitor industry news, translating findings into actionable recommendations for leaders to inform strategic decision-making and drive impactful business outcomes.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with diverse audiences, including executive leadership, large groups, and cross-functional teams.
- Tailor communication style and presentation format to maximize impact, ensure alignment, and influence strategic direction.
- Expertly utilize third-party data sources and systems to collect, clean, and manage large datasets for analysis and model development. Maintain proficiency with relevant analytical tools and technologies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of business objectives and key results (OKRs) to ensure alignment of research and analytics initiatives with high-priority strategic goals.
- Perform advanced data analysis, including statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining, to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
- Develop and enhance existing models for business development and sales prospecting to improve accuracy and predictive power.
- Prepare comprehensive reports of findings, utilizing data visualization techniques to effectively communicate complex information. Forecast and track market and sales trends, analyzing collected data to measure the effectiveness of marketing and sales strategies.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor progress and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Partner strategically with the Senior Manager of Growth Technology and other organizational leaders across data and systems to establish and maintain robust database infrastructure and develop effective data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
- Develop and generate insightful reports and dashboards as requested, providing key performance indicators (KPIs) and data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and track progress toward business objectives.
- Refine business processes and evaluate best practices for CRM implementation and related tools, focusing on enhancing user experience, streamlining workflows, and optimizing database maintenance for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead data quality initiatives through meticulous data capture and data integrity efforts, including managing list uploads, implementing workflow and field revisions/updates, and ensuring accurate data input from research activities related to leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities.
- Research and evaluate emerging business technologies, new CRM features, and third-party applications. Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to develop, execute, and operationalize implementation plans, driving innovation and maximizing the value of technology investments.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for support staff on CRM processes and related tools.
- Create and maintain training materials to ensure user proficiency and adoption, empowering teams to effectively leverage the CRM system.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for escalated CRM issues, acting as a liaison with IT to facilitate service requests and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.
- Proactively identify and address potential system issues to minimize disruptions and maximize system uptime.
- Identify, prioritize, and delegate automation and data analytics needs. This includes identifying and implementing Digital and Robotic Process
- Automation (RPA) tools into Growth workflows, as well as helping develop and maintain a roadmap for automation projects within the Growth division.
- Develop and maintain interactive, dynamic models to measure and monitor key business operations, providing real-time insights into performance and driving data-informed decision-making.
- Design and develop standard and custom reports, queries, and dashboards, integrating data from disparate sources to provide comprehensive insights. Offer ongoing support and training for data users, ensuring effective utilization of reporting tools and resources.
- Integrate data from diverse systems and applications to enable comprehensive analysis and reporting, uncovering hidden trends and insights that drive strategic business decisions.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge business intelligence solutions using leading platforms such as Tableau, Business Objects, CRM Analytics, or similar technologies, empowering stakeholders with self-service reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of a robust analytical and self-service/ad-hoc reporting environment, empowering users to access and analyze data independently.
- Architect, design, develop and test complex business intelligence solutions, including infrastructure, tools, visualizations, analytics, and database dashboards.
- Lead and conduct complex data mining and deep analysis of large datasets to identify actionable insights, provide strategic recommendations, and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for business intelligence solutions, infrastructure, tools, best practices, and content delivery through dashboards, visualizations, and reporting systems.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations for improving processes related to reporting systems and data capture, driving continuous improvement, and maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of business intelligence operations.
- Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews and coaching team members on areas related to individual professional development plans and division goals.
- Responsible for ensuring effective onboarding processes are in-place and followed when new team members are hired.
- Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Growth Operations Analyst, conducts regular check in meetings with team members.
Required Experience And Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration OR related field and 4 years of relevant experience, preferably working in Healthcare research and analytics, or growth/business development analysis OR an equivalent combination of education and experience that can display same level qualifications to successfully perform the role required.
- 3+ years of experience with BI solutions (Tableau, Power BI, CRM Analytics, or similar technologies) required.
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce or other CRM technology required.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries, performance tuning of BI queries, and BI development
- Strong Excel skillset to work with medium to large datasets and models required.
- Experience in low-code Digital and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, like Automation Anywhere and Power Automate required.
- Master's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience with sales, healthcare or healthcare operations preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in research and sales analytics preferred.
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports preferred
- Experience presenting technical solutions to business and technical audiences preferred.
- Basic understanding of PowerApps and Sharepoint development preferred.
- Basic understanding of DAX or Python preferred.
- Basic understanding of API-based ingestion and automation preferred.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into easy-to-understand and simple reports utilizing BI tools.
- Ability to analyze ambiguous technical and customer situations and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, identify and prioritize issues to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
- Knowledge of BI tools (i.e., Business Objects, Tableau, CRM Analytics)
- Excellent ability to quickly come up to speed on new technologies and technology concepts.
- Excellent writing, research and analysis, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively lead project teams as well as work collaboratively as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $95,590-121,875, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
